FOUNDATION PHASE : GRADE 1 – 3: The Foundation Phase is made up of 12 classes in total with 2 English and 2 Afrikaans classes per grade. Our class sizes range from 24 to 28 learners per class. The foundation phase learners are assisted by three teacher assistants.
INTERMEDIATE PHASE : GRADE 4 – 6: This phase is the cushion between the Foundation Phase (Grade 1 – 3) and the Senior Phase (Grade 7 – 9). During this phase, the learner will no longer learn to read, but read to learn. Thinking skills and application of knowledge become the focus of attention.
SENIOR PHASE : GRADE 7: Our focus is on preparation for high school, in particular, encouraging the learners to work more independently, take responsibility, and focus on study and research skills.
COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY: Our computer center boasts “state of the art” network equipment, with 40 up to date and modern computers in a dedicated laboratory.
ART: Each grade from Grade 3 to Grade 7 enjoys an hour of art a week in our well-equipped art class. We follow the prescribed curriculum during class time.
