Whale Coast Mall – Hermanus Building Works
A thumbs up to all our clients who have emailed to find out whether the construction at the Whale Coast Mall will be completed in time for your 2023 December holidays in Hermanus? The answer, according to a most recent update below is YES, weather permitting!
As far as your questions:
- Where will be the best place to park during construction?
- Not much has changed and shopping commences as normal. The only area that has been affected is the far left parking area at the Fruit & Veg Entrance No 4 which has been cordoned off opposite the Sandy Cove Complex .
- Is it better to shop at the Checkers in Hermanus CBD during construction?
- Checkers at The Mall has not been affected during construction and business at The Mall proceeds as normal.
- Will there be a GAME Store at the new extension of The Mall?
- We suspect this is likely but according to our knowledge there has been no formal mention or confirmation from Whale Coast Mall Management at this stage.
Dear Customers
We are excited to announce that the Whale Coast Mall fleet will be expanding and that we are currently in the construction phase of our extensions to the Whale Coast Mall. The project team is aiming (weather permitting) to complete the project at the end of November, to ensure that your December shopping will offer even more choices. Please note that during the process, some parking areas at the back of the mall will be utilized. Customers can still use the main gate at the Bergsig entrance, but should note that the gates closest to Cove Street will be closed for the duration of the project.
